About Me

My name is Darko Kolar and I was born at 19th August 1958. in Zagreb in Croatia and I am by nationality Croatian.

My main occupation is designer and I worked at design and screen printing atelier Sitotis from Pirot, Serbia.

But now I am without a job, because the company for which I worked for has closed its business as a result of the bad economic situation in Serbia.

My father's name is Josip Kolar. He is also artist, painter and typographer and he teached everything about painting business. Unfortunately my father and my mother too died when I was about 14 years old. I began to occupy myself with art aready 32 years ago. In the moment, my residence is Pirot, Serbia.

I am happily married to Snežana which is also my most popular model. All my paintings are oil on linen and airbrushed. The paint used and the colors are of TALENS manufacturer from Holland.
